Presenter:  Ricardo Perez, Director – International Business Program

Session Title: Developing Trade Relationships in Peru

Session Description: The United States-Peru Free Trade Agreement (PTPA) was entered into force on February 1, 2009. The PTPA eliminates tariffs and removes barriers to U.S. services, provides a secure, predictable legal framework for investors, and strengthens protection for intellectual property, workers, and the environment. Thirteen years into that agreement, what results has this bilateral trade and investment agreement yielded for both nations?  What future areas for improvements and opportunities in trade exist?

Wednesday, November 16, 2022 @ 10:15-11 a.m. EST

Presenter:  Darrin Mitchell, CEO

Session Title: Aligning and Bulletproofing your Supply Chain for Phenomenal Profit

Session Description: The events of the past few years have underscored for all businesses the importance of building an adaptive and resilient supply chain.  As a confirmed graduate from the school of hard knocks join presenter Darrin Mitchell as he shares practical tips and insights into how to:

  1. Avoid – becoming a patchwork of poor performing suppliers,
  2. Learn – how to utilize today’s tools to outpace the competition, and
  3. Build – a supply chain that will increase profits and derive benefit from the global economy.

About Darrin:  Over the last 20 years, Darrin Mitchell grew a very successful manufacturing business.

He developed a worldwide marketing system with partners in six (6) continents, patented intellectual property, a global supply chain and profits 10x the industry average. Most impressive, he did it from a small remote Island. Not adjacent to the customers or supply chain; he used social media, innovation, and resourcefulness to create a new model for business

About Manufacturing Masters: In today’s manufacturing environment, the one constant is “problems” -some of which company owners and managers are really good at solving (i.e., how to weld, how to use a CNC machine, how to make it faster and cheaper); but increasingly critical to business success are other issues and challenges that having technical expertise, doesn’t equip you with the “how to” knowledge needed. Manufacturing Masters provides training and best practice for manufacturing businesses taught by real Experts with decades of industry experience.  Built by manufacturers for manufacturers, the online platform provides manufacturers with access to 500 5-10 minute videos, designed to provide the viewer with short actionable “wins”.
