The US Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual event on Monday, October 3rd from 4-5pm EST. This Virtual InSTEP program will be a conversation on “The Ongoing Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Where We’re Heading and Geopolitical Implications.”

The speakers will explore how developments have reshaped both Russia and Ukraine, the vital U.S. interests at stake in the conflict, the question of the staying power of the U.S. and its European allies, and what the positioning of key players like China, India, and others tells us about the realignment of global politics.

There will be three leading voices on the ongoing conflict and its ramifications:

• Ambassador William Taylor, Vice President, Russia and Europe, U.S. Institute of Peace, and former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine
• Dr. Evelyn Farkas, Executive Director, McCain Institute, and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia
• Jennifer Cafarella, Chief of Staff and inaugural National Security Fellow, Institute for the Study of War
