Romy Ancog: Romy is the Export Finance Manager covering Michigan and Indiana for the U.S. Small Business Administration. Working out of the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Detroit, Romy supports lenders and small businesses with SBA trade finance products and other exporting issues.He previously managed the lending team for the Michigan District Office. Prior to his federal service, Romy was in the private sector for many years.  As a commercial banker, he worked in international banking, private banking and small business lending.  Romy is an alumnus of the University of Michigan and has his MBA from the University of Detroit.

Obafemi Elegbede: Obafemi “Femi” Elegbede Ph.D. is the Economist of the investment research team at SelectUSA, U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration. SelectUSA works with the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service and entities across government to facilitate job-creating business investment into the United States and raise awareness of the critical role that economic development plays in the U.S. economy. Dr. Elegbede leads the supply chain and reshoring strategy for SelectUSA. Prior to joining SelectUSA, Dr. Elegbede worked with United States Department of Agriculture Economic Research Service, and The Council of Economic Advisers, an agency within the Executive Office of the President of the United States.Dr. Elegbede has a Ph.D. in Sustainability from Michigan State University and Certificate in Global Supply Chain Management, M.A. in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Pamela Ward: Pamela Ward serves as the Regional Senior Commercial Officer for Sub-Saharan Africa.  Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, she leads a U.S. Commercial Service team with offices in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Mozambique, Ethiopia and Ghana; and collaborates with the U.S. Department of State partnership posts to support the commercial activities of U.S. companies in 22 other sub-Saharan African countries.  Ms. Ward previously served in Brussels, Belgium; Paris, France; Zagreb, Croatia; Johannesburg, South Africa; The Hague, The Netherlands; and Budapest, Hungary.  She also served as a trade specialist in Eugene, Oregon and Newport Beach, California.  Ms. Ward entered government service as an Import Compliance Specialist investigating unfair trade practice allegations for the U.S. Department of Commerce. Prior to her government service, she worked in the international trade and shipping logistics departments of several multinational firms.  Ms. Ward holds a degree in Business Administration and International Marketing from the University of North Carolina.
