For a company, a video always serves a goal : to sell a product, to promote a savoir-faire, to announce an evenement… To entrust a professional team with its making ensures that the message will be duly conveyed. Afterwards, it remains to know how to use it at best.

Where to insert the video ?

The position of the video depends on its message :

  • on the website homepage if it serves to introduce a company or an offer ; just one video should be inserted in order to not weigh down the page, and often replaced for a good referencing
  • on a strategic page, for instance a product file for a video in keeping with the content, or a highly visited page for a video showcasing the company savoir-faire ; to allow comments may improve the referencing
  • in a newsletter to build customer loyalty ; by addressing directly to the customer in the video, it helps to increase his trust
  • in an email to illustrate the content, either within the message or via a link to a landing page

The video sharing platforms

In most of the countries, Youtube proves to be the most visited video sharing platform. Thus it’s opportune to insert a video on it. Nevertheless, an optimal visibility is not guaranteed as on average, 3 million of videos are integrated each day on Youtube. However, such platform affords to better structure one’s communication thanks to the possibility of creating a free channel on it. Moreover, it favours the referencing and puts at everybody’s diposal its servers and bandwith.
