“B2B SMS campaigns will grow more and more” from EMB Europe

SMS marketing campaigns for B2B? Yes, and EMB Europe explains why.

Here we share with you a great piece by our partner EMB Europe that projects the future for B2B marketing- and SMS campaigns seem to be the key. You can find a translated version of the article below or click here to view the original article in French.

We are convinced that B2B SMS campaigns will grow more and more

Flavien Charles, Managing Director and Partner of Wellpack, talks about the specificities of his job and insists on the ever-increasing importance of commercial prospecting by SMS.

What is Wellpack’s business?
Wellpack, a structure that celebrated its 20th anniversary this past year, collects and distributes marketing data, mainly in B2C. They also offer a B2B data repository. Today, we are the leaders when it comes to SMS acquisition strategies.

What are the specifics of the marketing actions carried out around campaigns that implement SMS in B2B?

We adapt to the needs expressed by our advertisers. To do this, we are working on specific themes to seek out certain categories of professionals. For example, we recently worked on a campaign to promote the recruitment of future franchisees.

We are also working on segmentation elements such as the NAF code, the size of the companies, or even a function that the advertiser wishes to reach within the companies via his message.

Why is SMS prospecting a major issue for brands today?

“The performances of mobile marketing are those that allow the greatest power in terms of information transmission. This is particularly true for the SMS channel thanks to an excellent reading rate, around 95%. Consumer responsiveness is also stronger on mobile. In general, the message sent to a consumer is read within 4 minutes of being received”.

Finally, the commercial pressure is less strong on mobile. Whether professionally or privately, we receive much less advertising by SMS. And we are therefore more inclined to discover the message transmitted by a brand when it reaches us on our phone. And especially to memorize it.

How does your partnership with EMB help you develop your offer around B2B SMS?

Professionals are open to discussion and reflection on the SMS channel if they are offered mechanisms adapted to their needs.

We are convinced that B2B campaigns will increasingly develop on this channel. To strengthen our offer, we exchange with several market players, including EMB, with whom we work when our data does not allow us to address the needs of our customers.

In B2B, there is less data to capture than in B2C. What is important for us is to find additional data that corresponds to the indicators that we set with our clients to meet their objectives during each campaign.

If you had to describe EMB in a few words…

Trust, responsiveness, and professionalism.
